Heavy Hitter

By Sam Burns | March 20, 2017

Many shampoos do more than just clean your hair. Some nourish, strenghten , deep clean and protect. Todays modern man has so many choices it seems almost impossible to navigate through the options.

First start with your scalp and figure out whether it is dry or oily. Oily scalp needs a bit more cleansing to rid the scalp of buildup and promote thicker hair growth. Hair texture is another factor to consider as well. Thicker hair will benefit from a deep clean to make cleansing an essential component to rid the hair of residual product build up, while thinner hair can further benefit from a deep clean as well to add body and rid the hair of excess oil that may way the hair down. If you use hair stylling products and do not use a deep cleaning shampoo, product build up could lead to thinning or dull hair. Deep cleaning your hair and scalp with consistant use will help the hair become shiner, thicker and healthier looking.

Heavy hitter shampoo is my favorite addition to my male clients routine. The deep clean formula is true to its word and really does remove residual build up, and I dont need to use several applications. after one use the hair feels clean and looks healthier. The fresh scent is appealing to all my male guests and the thick lather is nourishing and makes the scalp feel revitalized. wheter you opt for this product as a daily routine or a once a week DEEP clean this producr delivers maxiumum clean, powering away dirt, grease and buildup. and leaves the hair smelling great.

Your shampoo technique begins before a drop of shampoo even touches your hair. We all love a nice hot shower but high temps can wreack havoc on the hair and make your scalp dry. This does not mean "cold shower" time but rather stick with lukewarm. If your uncertain what lukewarm should feel like, run your elbow under the water. Shampooing with water that is lukewarm and ending with a slightly cool rinse will leave your hair and skin feeling healthy and revitalized.

Most men are surprised to learn that build up from regular use of styling products can actually cause hair to thin and appear dull. Incorporating a deep cleaning shampoo into a grooming routine is important in order to rid hair and scalp of product residue so hair is shinier, thicker and healthier overall.
